Strength to Temperance: A Hero’s Journey Through the Major Arcana in the Waite Smith Tarot Deck

This livestream workshop, the second in a trilogy, deals with Strength to Temperance. This the row of independence; The forging of self within the context of the collective; The natural emergence and the requirement of deeper self exploration. 

In these seven cards, we unpack how we deal with conflict, community and co-operation, including the laws of nature/the laws of man.

This is the second in a series of 3 livestream workshops which will take you on the journey of the hero or what is sometimes called the journey of The Fool. We are all the hero or The Fool and these workshops will take you deep into the forest of enchantment where you will be able to explore your own journey and the story that emerges as you meet each of the Tarot archetypes. You will see how these characters represent you and the tale that must be told.

The aim of these online workshops is for you to gain a deeper understanding of the narrative of each of the cards in the major arcana of the Waite Smith tarot deck. Every picture tells a story and every one of the cards is a window to the evolving soul. From The Fool to The World is the path towards one of spiritual maturity.

Through fun exercises, new spreads and discussion, we will unpack the symbolism in the Waite Smith tarot and observe how the cards not only have their individual meanings but how they also operate structurally as a whole. Through personal and collective experiences, social history and symbolism, you will gather fresh perspectives of the cards and explore the psycho-spiritual narrative of your own journey of self-discovery.
