The oldest surviving recording of a spell dates back to 2800 BCE, and (no surprises) it was a love spell. Humans have longed for love, and petitioned the gods for love from the beginning of time. However, modern practice is very clear that love spells are manipulative and should be avoided at all costs.

This 2-part online workshop includes:

• The many forms of love magic
• How to navigate the fascinating landscape of love spells 
• How to create an effective love spell 
• What to consider when working with love magic

Optional objects to bring along:

Rebecca will be demonstrating with some fun materials on the day. Sourcing these materials yourself is entirely optional and if you don't source them this won't affect your participation or learning.

• A clean glass jar (old jam jars are fine)
• A pink crystal tumblestone of your choice, as well as a green one
• An apple
• Something to carve the apple with
• Some green thread
• Some paper
• A green pen
• Anything that catches your eye that reminds you of love that you want to bring along
• A notebook and pen for some journaling work
• A selection of the following herbs:
  • Rose petals
  • Some dried apple slices
  • Rose essential oil

We will not be recording this workshop. One of the unique aspects of the College's online events is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded.
