The sacred moon tree is as old as time, and appears across ancient cultures. We'll paint our own sacred moon tree, a process that connects us with the divine feminine, in this creative in-person workshop with artist Nicole Frobusch.

The moon goddess has long been venerated by ancient cultures across the world. In this in-person workshop, we will explore the moon in relation to the divine feminine as we create our own sacred moon tree - an archetypal symbol that can be found throughout history, especially in Assyrian imagery.

This in-person workshop explores:

  • Indigenous and ancient cultures and their rites around the moon
  • Honouring a woman's moon time and the wisdom which comes with the moon pause
  • Reclaiming our creativity and freedom of expression without shame
  • The symbolism of fruits and flowers in preparation of creating our own moon tree

We will be painting a moon tree based on a sacred geometric template. This template provides a ground for us to explore our inner relation with the moon and with ourselves. In this process, we will discover what yearns to manifest on our tree, and how the use of colour and symbolism might aid in this process.

We will be using foraged ochres from pilgrimages that Nicole undertook in sacred landscapes

Nicole will prepare these into watercolours for you to use and to experience the feel of these very special paints.

Book now for an enjoyable and supportive day of sitting together, healing, processing and creating without judgement.
