The Thoth Tarot: Introducing its History and Symbolism

The Thoth Tarot is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and enigmatic decks in existence. Discover its significance and symbolism in this illustrated livestream talk.

Frieda, Lady Harris, painted the Thoth Tarot in the 1940s on direct instructions from Aleister Crowley. It was conceived to be a true esoteric treasure trove encapsulating the lessons of the New Aeon of Thelema. Its companion, The Book of Thoth: A Short Essay on the Tarot of the Egyptians, published in 1944 in the last years of Crowley's life, can be rightly considered the final, and arguably most complete, set of instructions on Thelemic Magick written by the Great Beast himself.

As with every Magnum Opus, the scope of the Thoth Tarot is vast. To fully understand it and thus be able to use it correctly requires years of study of both Thelema and tarotology.

In this online talk, we will try to put together some of the main pieces of this puzzle:
