As the night draws in and autumn chills the air, step into the warmth of the College for a cosy evening of spooky stories, narrated by award-winning actor Sara Kestelman.

Gather close for a selection of our favourite haunted tales of fiction, delivered with spine-tingling skill. Many will recognise Sara from her appearances on stage and screen. Her atmospheric narration and rich timbre will transport you into the true spirit of Halloween - goosebumps guaranteed!

Join us for this FREE event - booking is essential as seats are limited. Donations are gratefully received. Trick or treat? This evening's ghostly yarns are served with a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink.

The School Friend by Robert Aickman: Robert Aickman was interested in psychical research and was involved in investigating the Borley Rectory hauntings. In the last decade his work has been championed by the likes Neil Gaiman, TV writers Mark Gatiss, Reece Shearsmith & Jeremy Dyson, and screenwriter Tony Grisoni.

The Bus Conductor by E.F. Benson: Most famous for his Mapp and Lucia series (adapted for TV by Mark Gatiss in 2014), Benson is well-known and highly lauded for his supernatural fiction.
