The College of Psychic Studies invites you to Creative Spirits, an odyssey into the otherworldly in which you will encounter art and photography created by 100 mediums, dreamers and visionaries over the last 165 years.

Step inside and wander through 14 rooms across six floors of our Victorian townhouse in South Kensington, discovering the powerful and thought-provoking art and photography of creative spirits from the earthly and beyond.

Don't miss the artworks of Aleksandra Ionowa (1899-1980), dubbed Finland's Hilma af Klint, whose drawings will be on display for the first time outside of Finland.

You'll want to linger awhile in the room devoted to the automatic drawings of our founder member, Anna Mary Howitt Watts (1824-1884), who was a pioneering mediumistic artist and champion of women's reforms in Victorian England.

Go on to explore the works of visionary women in art from around the world, and enter a portal into the invisible through the minds of the surrealists, musicalistes and visionaries such as Louise Janin, Alan Davie, Grace Pailthorpe and Ithell Colquhoun.

You'll enjoy our celebration of the history of tarot and women of the Golden Dawn, which we hope will tempt you to join our inaugural Tarot Weekend at the College, 18-20 November 2022.

And before you step back out into the 'real world', be sure to catch a glimpse of the pastel drawing by the Golden Dawn founder, Moina Mathers, a lost treasure that hasn't been seen since it was exhibited in Paris in 1903 at the Salon d'Automne.
