As we enter deepest autumn, and the veil between worlds grows increasingly diaphanous, The College of Psychic Studies is THE place to be. In this special spirited season, we invite you to join us, either in-person or online, for an inspiring two-day voyage to explore life's great mysteries through the lenses of some fascinating tools. The Timetable
What to expect
A Weekend of Divination & the Esoteric invites you to safely explore a myriad of fascinating topics with The College of Psychic Studies' tutors as your trusted guides. You'll be in the best company this weekend, with like-hearted friends from across London, the UK and the world joining online and in-person for this very special event.
Those joining us in person, whether for the full weekend or just Saturday or Sunday, will receive a goodie bag with tools and treasures that we'll be trying out during the sessions. Joining us online? Not to worry – we will send you a list of optional items that you may wish to bring with you to get the most out of this weekend.
All this deep diving is thirsty work. If you are coming along in person to the College, hearty sustenance is served in the form of a delicious afternoon tea each day in the library at 4.30pm. Our afternoon teas have garnered quite the reputation as an indulgent spread of sandwiches, cakes, scones and sweet treats served on pretty vintage crockery alongside teas, coffees and soft drinks. Vegetarians and vegans are also catered for.
A glimpse of topics we'll explore
A bounty of treasures awaits your discovery in A Weekend of Divination & the Esoteric! Each session is fun, inclusive and experiential, and allows for Q&A, both for those attending in-person and online. Here's a glimpse of what to expect...
- Spirit portraiture is a fascinating form of mediumship in which spirit guides our hand to reveal the faces and characteristics of loved ones in the great beyond. We'll witness spirit portraiture in action via June-Elleni Laine's intriguing demonstration. Let's see who will show up for you...
- Scrying is familiar to many of us - remember 'Magic mirror on the wall'; the formidable omniscient Magic Mirror of Snow White's Evil Queen? We'll be looking a little deeper than Disney's fairest in the land, though, as Lucya Starza teaches about this ancient art that uses not only mirrors, but crystal balls, flames, water and more. She'll also guide us through our own experience of scrying.
- Hand reading is a refreshing, down-to-earth interpretative technique that examines all aspects of our hands to reveal our personality, passions and peeves. It brings forward some surprising insights and is a powerful tool of self-discovery. You'll learn what your palms, finger shapes, skin texture and more reveal about you with Hand Reading Tutor Robin Lown in his hand-reading session.
- Numerology can tell us so much about ourselves and our life, and is a powerful tool to help us find the answers to burning questions about career paths, relationships, home and more. Numerology Tutor Richard Abbot will be teaching us what our numbers say about us. We'll delve beyond our birthdate to examine the numerological meaning of our name, significant addresses, compatibilities and more.
- Animal communication closes our Saturday, with legendary animal healer Elizabeth Whiter joining us on the stage to teach us how to connect to the animal kingdom. Elizabeth, with her beautiful dog, Claude, will share with us how animals feel, their environmental and sensory needs and discover practical solutions to enhance the bonds of friendship, trust and love.
- Automatic writing opens Sunday's stage. Join trance mediumship and spirit writing tutor Sarah Tyler-Walters as she explores the fascinating practice of automatic writing. Sarah will debunk myths, provide expert guidance on how it works, and invite you into this beautiful way of working with spirit. You will come away enlightened and informed.
- Tarot is a helpful tool that can offer us empowering insights on ourselves and our life. Whatever your take, tarot is a powerful tool that can serve us beautifully when we know how to use it well. Step in, Tarot Tutor Avril Price, who will teach us inspiring techniques on how the tarot can support us to live our best life in a friendly and accessible way.
- The Runes beckon us into their Nordic world of gods, elves and spellbinding beings with storyteller and musician Andreas Kornevall. He'll be enchanting us through melodic storytelling magic to guide us into the ancient mysteries of these powerful sacred symbols. You'll learn about their origins as well as how they can reveal the deeper meanings beneath the fabric of our reality.
- Remote viewing invites us to travel far beyond The College of Psychic Studies' physical and online lecture halls with Ann Théato as our guide. Whether it's to ancient civilisations for a visit to our ancestors or to unpack unsolved mysteries, remote viewing allows us to open previously sealed doorways and open our mind's eye to see into the past, present and future.
- Dowsing closes a spectacular weekend with an introduction to your new best friend – the pendulum. Pixie P Carney teaches us the art of dowsing for answers on every aspect of life, from the physical realms to the subtle in this lifetime and beyond. You'll learn all about how dowsing works, and how to use it not only for answers, but to shift the energy of a person or a space in seconds. Experience it for yourself right here!
It's going to be a spectacular weekend - don't take our word for it! Here's some feedback from last year's Weekend of Psychic Mediumship:
