Certified Go-Pro Tarot Course

Our online certified Go-Pro Tarot certification gives you the prestige, confidence and acumen to become a sought-after professional Tarot consultant.

The course is limited to 10 applicants. Successful enrolment is subject to an online interview and assessment with Avril. If your application is not successful, your payment will be refunded in full.

The Go-Pro Tarot course is for advanced Tarot practitioners – whether you have trained at the College or have developed your skills elsewhere – who wish to embark upon a fulfilling career with the cards. In this course, Avril will give you the keys to unlock your future as a professional Tarot consultant.

To graduate with the Go-Pro Tarot Certificate of Completion, students must attend all of the six modules, complete and pass two case studies a 60-minute reading for Avril at the end of the course. The time you commit to your case studies and tarot reading are in addition to the six modules. Sessions will not be recorded, so it is important that you can commit to the dates outlined in the schedule below.

The Go-Pro Tarot course comprises six modules:

Module 1: Preparing for a consultation

In module 1, we polish up our Tarot tool kit and refresh our skills and gifts. We explore what we have to do to prepare for meeting the client and giving that brilliant reading. This will include tuning in and holding the energy right from the word go! We will also take a look at other disciplines such as aura reading, oracles and psychometry and how they can enrich the consultation and bring amazingly accurate insights.

Module 2: Delivering an empowering reading

Welcome to module 2. Today we tell stories! Good use of language is important in a consultation, especially if we are working with a sensitive situation. We will look how a spread seams together to tell the client's story. Emphasis will be on working creatively with the symbolism in the cards and how they make successful connections to the relevant issues. We can also explore accountability issues.

Module 3: Directing the consultation

Module 3 is all about the dynamics. We look at what happens during a reading and what reactions we can expect. We will do experiential exercises around personal triggers and being non-judgemental. This is especially important when dealing with trauma, loss or mental health issues. We will take a look at the anatomy of a consultation and how to drive the session.

Module 4: Establishing your reputation

Ready for module 4? Working with social media is an art form and provides a vital artery to get your work out there! This module gives you the top tips for creating a workable marketing platform that will sustain your business. You will take those practical steps towards finding your own style that others will want to follow.

Module 5: Discovering and developing your brand

The penultimate module is all about creating a successful business that is authentic and does what it says on the tin! What makes you stand out? Who is your audience? What is your ambition and intention with your business? Get ready to create your vision for your business, now and in the future.

Module 6: Moving forward...

And finally, the world is yours! This module asks you about what images represent your business? What do you want it to look like? You will be getting creative with a mood board to help you with colours, names, logos. You get to ask those all important questions around the practical know-how of running a successful Tarot business…

This course is open to all experienced Tarot practitioners, both College alumni and those who have developed their skills elsewhere. Participants must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the Tarot OR have at least four terms' experience in the College's Advanced Tarot course.

Only 10 applicants will be accepted on this course. Successful enrolment is subject to an online interview and assessment with Avril. If your application is not successful, your payment will be refunded in full.

The total cost of this course is £1,450 for members and £1,650 for non members.

Avril will be conducting interviews with all applicants. The College will contact you to arrange your day and time. 

The 10 successful applicants will receive a welcome pack. Avril is also gifting a 30-minute supervision session to each successful applicant, to be taken during the course.

Entry requirements

• The Certified Go-Pro Tarot Course is the next step for those who have completed four or more terms of Tarot Advanced.
• Those who have trained in tarot elsewhere, and who can demonstrate a high level of proficiency with the cards, are welcome to apply.
• Successful enrolment is subject to an interview with Avril. If your application is unsuccessful, you will receive a full refund.

We will not be recording these classes. One of the unique aspects of the College's online courses is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded. 

You are required to attend all six classes in order to graduate from the Go-Pro Tarot course with a certificate. Please ensure you can attend all six classes.
